In my last post, I went for the cuteness factor and posted that adorable of picture of Syed Favad Ali’s black cat, one of Thaakat’s very devoted volunteers. This week the cuteness continues!
Ms. Sameeha Qureshi, a second grade teacher at the Islamic Foundation School in Villa Park, Illinois, told her class about Thaakat’s #lethedreambe initiative and began a fundraising project to help raise money towards the school in Kachra Kundi.
During lunchtime, her class sold hot dogs to students and faculty to raise an AMAZING $425 for #lethedreamebe! Kudos to you and your class, Ms. Qureshi! We are more grateful than we can say for your support and commitment to Thaakat’s cause.
