In 2011, for the first time ever, two of Rutgers’ South Asian organizations came together to bring you one of the most entertaining and informative events of the semester.
April 8th 2012 (TODAY), they are doing it again.

This year’s theme is “Being South Asian in America”, with all workshops and speakers focused on addressing topics and issues that you face as a South Asian in the US.
At the day-long conference, from 1 pm to 5 pm, workshop speakers will discuss topics ranging from culture and politics to community service. Learn how to make your dreams come true by starting your own business or even a non-profit organization, or learn more about a future career in the medical field as a South Asian!

The conference will kickoff with KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
Dr. Indrani Chatterjee
An associate professor at Rutgers University, Dr. Chatterjee’s research focuses on the study of early and modern South Asia. There will also be a Bazaar, featuring vendors selling everything from clothing to jewelry, all in one place, as well as prizes and giveaways all day long!
